A Simple Prayer

I lift my hands and pray to you,
Lord I ask of your forgiveness, so true.

I give you my heart, now and always.
For the ones that won't, will forever pay.

Show me more of your undying love,
I'm glad it's you, watching from above.

I've felt hurt, I've felt slain,
But Lord, I surrender all my pain.

I give my heart to you,
I give it all to you.
I give it all up,
For something new.

I closed my eyes,
You sent the cure.
Without you, this life I would not, should not,
Could not endure.
